Jazz In aout 2007

I love music…it touches me deeply and always triggers happiness in me. Tonight I was very lucky to watch Marshall Gilkes play during the festival amateur of La Rochelle Jazz In aout. His trombone was magical. The weather was dreadful but the crowd was still there mesmerized by the sound.
I enjoyed watching the expressions on the captivated audience…smiling, relaxed, transported by the magic of music…merci et bravo!

Now if there’s anything I can really get into, it’s some good jazz at a local club. Of course, I’m more partial to either the crazy rock-fusion stuff or the old-school swing from the 30s and 40s.
