The flavours of Christmas

christmas-flavours.jpg

This time of the year I can’t help but take pictures of everything…of course I wished my camera took better pictures ( did you hear that Santa?) Every where I go takes me back and I feel the urge to grasp the moment. Walking around La Rochelle Market the other day I was confronted by a couple of hanging wild boars …I have eaten nearly all these cakes..yes and I have even made a “spicy” festive crown for the table.

Presents have nearly all been bought some made and all we need now is the day!

Merry Christmas to all of you!

  1. Gad, I feel your pain – I need a new camera too, if you remember what I had to do to get into the FMB book! I doubt Santa has one for me though; I’ll have to buy my own. :(

  2. you’re making me hungry

  3. I love this music playing! What is it? Also, who has the best macaroons in La Rochelle?

  4. Oh, now I see where the music is coming from, sorry!

  5. Where’s my invitation then? …… I can’t have you putting on any weight

  6. Ghosty I don’t think I will either…my camera will have to do or perhaps I should start reading the instructions!
Eva! what are you doing here? well to answer the Macarrons query I think Jolly have very good ones but not as good as La Duree in Paris! I look forward to our cafe tuesday, I might even get a few macarrons for the occasion ;-)
    Daddy P: don’t you worry about my weight…I don’t ;-)
