Doors and numbers in St Martin En Re

A chilly sunday around lunch time in St Martin En Re meant the streets were empty.

I was free to indulge inĀ  my passion for doors and locks without raising too many eyebrows…

  11. Wow–I thought that my father and me were the only ones who like to take pictures of door hardware!

My father (an architect) also takes pictures of flying buttresses, old ironwork, and other building odds and ends.

He will be so delighted someone else is out there.

  12. Judy: surprising how many people do!
Cowgirl betty: perhaps we should create a little club…has your dad got a link somewhere I can check out?

  13. . . .Hmm . . . I will inquire with him. He does a lot of historic preservation as well. Once I find out anything, I’ll get back to you.

He also has some photographs of murals painted in the 1930s for various primary schools. I’ll see what he can dig up with that too.

  14. Cowgirl: Let me know that sounds really interesting ;-)
