I know I have already mentioned Emily Loizeau here before. Ben Ouai got me the CD for Christmas and it has been played nearly every day since!

There is just something about a song sang in French …. Magnifique Sylvie:-)
that film clip is wonderful!
are all french women as gorgeous as emily, charlotte gainsbourgh and you sylvie?
you look alike anyway
Oh I love this! Merci merci merci, I will have to explore more of the lovely Emily Loizeau
What is it that makes that so very ‘French’?- I’ve watched it several times now.
70:It is funny because I don’t always like songs in french,
x
I think english has a better bounce but her lyrics are just a little story for each song. She also sings in english with Andrew Bird and that’s great too.
Nursemyra: love that clip too, you know Charlotte and Emily are both mixed French/English…a good combination…of course I would say that
tnb:De rien de rien tnb!
DP: light and scissor shop perhaps…
Sylvie that is simply a wonderful video and I too love the atmosphere as well as her voice and style.
I do so wish that I had paid more attention when studying French. But French with a US southern accent just doesn’t sound right even if you are fluent. Trust me I kept everyone in stitches.
Thanks for yet another wonderful share,
~jackie:)
I wonder if I should take out a copyright on ScissorShop – I’d probably make £2 or £3 a year.
Oh Sylvie the fairies have been watching you:)

I will look out the English one with Andrew. It is odd isn’t it how a different language makes things more exciting. It’s a bit like when I was growing up when I wanted black hair like my friend and she wanted to be blond like me lol
sylvie, I’ve just watched a really cute french film called Narco: The Adventures of Gustave Klopp. have you seen it? It was made in 2004
shinade: accents are an asset, they got me in lot of troubles in the past but have also opened many doors
DP: You won’t know unless you try…
Shinade: I can’t open that link, what is it?
70: I always wanted dark hair and blue eyes instead I had blond hair with brown eyes…oh well…
Nursemyra: I have not, I will add it to my list thanks!
