Cookie workshop in La Rochelle

When Eva arrived on my front door this week-end armed with kids and a set of measurement spoons I knew instantly she meant business!

The cookie workshop was about to start! I have for many years attempted to bake cookies the American way but always ended up disappointed with the end result. I watched with anticipation Eva juggle the cups, shave the chocolate, level out the correct amount of butter…my god…a domestic goddess had entered my kitchen!

The kids were having so much fun orbiting round the mixing bowl and inadvertently splattering each other with the dough :-)

Eva you have captured my biggest respect I will forever look up to you, the cookies were divine and the best thing is that I am now the proud owner of the recipe…I will spread the love!

I love making cookies and would gladly send you some American made cookies if they would survive the trip to France. alas they wouldn’t!     YUM! I made a batch of cookies on the weekend…I set the dough aside and thought “Well, if it makes it to the oven..” we ended up eating it (: Don’t worry, it was a small batch! Sooo yummy with a cup of tea!
