Pebbles and stones

One of my favorite things when walking on on the beach is picking stones, I have accumulated a fair amount over the last few months and they are found everywhere in the house, including toilets (I know…)

One my think that this hobby has turned to obsession but I simply cannot resist them.  I have now found a way to give them the glory they deserve…

Childen ( they have both been corrupted into my obsession and are showing great potential) are made to look for THE STONE that stands out from the others, then once safely home, the oldest one will varnish it.  We then glue them onto a slate – they are now displayed yet again all over the house but with a sense of purpose and look simply fabulous.

It is quite easy, free (almost) and will keep your kids entertained for a minute or two…
